2 Men Seriously Hurt After Being Struck By Truck In Framingham, Witnesses Say

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) -- Two men were seriously injured Friday night after witnesses say they were intentionally struck by a pickup truck in Framingham.

It happened near the intersection of Grant and Wilson streets around 6 p.m.

Witnesses told WBZ the truck hit a parked car and then two men on foot. Two men in the truck then got out and assaulted one of the victims, according to witnesses.

"Hitting, kicking and saying a lot of bad words," Riany Ferreira said. "The guy tried to get up, but his leg was broken and they threw things on (him)." The suspects then ran from the scene.

About an hour later several blocks away, Framingham police surrounded a home on Hartford Street. According to witnesses, several individuals were taken away for questioning.

Police have yet to comment on any possible arrests or the victims' conditions.

No additional information was readily available.
