Phantom Gourmet: Fresh Local Seafood

BOSTON (CBS) – With miles of coastline spanning across New England there are plenty of local restaurants serving fresh and healthy seafood.

One of the most stylish seafood restaurants on the North Shore, Brine in Newburyport is known for their top-notch raw bar as well as premium steaks.

Ostra in the Back Bay might be Boston's first true fine dining seafood-centric restaurant serving specialties like broiled Maine lobster with herb butter and salt crusted branzino that's filleted table-side.

What better place to find fresh seafood than a ship? "The Ship" restaurant located on Route One in Lynnfield is a culinary landmark. Their new menu focuses on New England seafood with an Italian twist like the cioppino with local haddock, scallops, clams, and lobster.

There's certainly an increase in seafood sales during Lent so fish restaurants will be extra busy on Fridays through April 2nd. For more food and fun watch the Phantom Gourmet Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on myTV38.
