Pet Parade: PAWS New England

BOSTON (CBS) --  Four dogs up for adoption from PAWS New England were featured on the Pet Parade Sunday morning.

Murna. (WBZ-TV)

Murna is eight years old, and was rescued from a high-kill shelter where she was very ill and had almost no chance of surviving. She has a birth defect in one eye--but that doesn't hold her back! She's very sweet and mellow, and loves going on walks.

Fenway. (WBZ-TV)

Fenway is just a baby at four months old! He has a skin issue--when he was rescued, he had no fur. He's slowly growing it back, though! He's typically very active and spunky, with a big personality.

Maura. (WBZ-TV)

Maura, a five-year-old pit bull/terrier mix was also rescued from a high-kill shelter. She's a sweet girl who has never met a stranger she didn't like. She loves going for car rides, and would be a great hiking companion.

Babs. (WBZ-TV)

Babs, six, wags her tail non-stop! Sadly, PAWS New England said she was probably used as a bait dog. She is very reactive to other dogs and nervous around them, so she would do best in a home with no other dogs--and an owner who has the patience to train her.
