Pet Parade: Little Paws Dachshund Rescue

BOSTON (CBS) -- Three dachshunds up for adoption from Little Paws Dachshund Rescue were featured on the Pet Parade Sunday.

Little Paws has placed over 600 dogs in their forever homes.

"Dachshunds are just a really huge personality in a tiny body," said Nicole from Little Paws. "They have no idea that they're not the size of Great Danes."

Onyx. (WBZ-TV)

Onyx came in to Little Paws as an owner surrender with his brother. He's eight years old and full of energy! He loves a brisk walk and lots of affection. He gets along well with other dogs and older kids.

Sable. (WBZ-TV)

He could be adopted with his brother Sable, or on his own.

Lucy. (WBZ-TV)

Lucy was found on the side of the road with her mouth bound shut, and required surgery to fix her muzzle. She's recovering very well, and is a great little dog! She doesn't go anywhere without a tennis ball. She's shy around people, but warms up to them very quickly.
