Pet Parade: Gecko Sanctuary

BOSTON (CBS) -- A bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, and a snake up for adoption from The Gecko Sanctuary were featured on the Pet Parade Sunday.

Zoe, a bearded dragon. (WBZ-TV)

Zoe, a bearded dragon, is about a year old, and was handled very regularly--so she's very friendly and relaxed. She's also had exposure to children, so she would do fine in a home with kids.

Bearded dragons need special care--Gecko Sanctuary recommends a 40-gallon heated breeder-sized tank. Another fact about bearded dragons? They actually like to cuddle!

Maebh, a leopard gecko. (WBZ-TV)

Maebh is a leopard gecko whose bones didn't form quite the way they should, so her legs are a bit short, but she can still get around! This feisty little one only needs to be fed every 2-3 days, and only needs about a 20-gallon tank.

Sisko, a ball python. (WBZ-TV)

Sisko is a year-old ball python who is a little small for his size. He's a bit shy, but not aggressive--and very easy to handle! He eats frozen bog mice.
