Pet Parade: Gecko Sanctuary In Holbrook

BOSTON (CBS) -- Things were a little different on the Pet Parade this weekend, as reptiles from the Gecko Sanctuary in Holbrook stopped by WBZ-TV's studios.

Neelix the corn snake came from a group of reptiles that were surrendered when an animal education program had to close down. Neelix is about 2 to 3 years old, and he's looking to live in a 40-gallon tank where he can eat his frozen and thawed mice. He has some experience with children.

Lance the bearded dragon is small, but is very active and has a good appetite. The 3-year-old eats mostly salad and bugs and needs heat.

There are also several geckos available for adoption.

Visit geckosanctuary.org for adoption information.
