Pedestrian Hit And Killed By Snow Plow In Dorchester

BOSTON (CBS) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a plow truck at the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Harborview Street Sunday morning.

Resident Darries Davis witnessed the incident.

"My first thought was I hope he's OK, but he was pinned under a pretty big truck," Davis said.

The truck was traveling eastbound around 11:15a.m. It came to a stop in the crosswalk.

Davis's step-daughter was injured years ago on the same street. He wishes the man was as fortunate.

"I just feel bad for the man's family because no a person deserves that," he said.

Officials have not yet released the name of the victim. The incident remains under investigation.
