The victim is a 29-year-old Herb Chambers employee and was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Police say Belmont Landscaping was hired by Hamilton Realty to cut down a tree in an alley off of Thorndike Street. The man was walking by when the limb fell.

The limb that injured the man was a foot in diameter and two and a half feet long.
