Peabody Man Charged With Driving Propane Tanker On Drugs

LEXINGTON (CBS) - State Police say a Peabody man has been charged with driving a propane tanker while under the influence of drugs Thursday morning in Lexington.

After receiving several calls about an erratic driver, officers were called to Route 128 south about 11:15 a.m. where they pulled over the driver.

Michael Bain, 43, faces several charges including operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a vehicle, possession of a class A drug (subsequent offense) and a marked lanes violation.

He was also given a ticket for safety violations.
