Two Men Arrested In Connection With Stabbing At Peabody Restaurant

PEABODY (CBS) – Police say two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed at a restaurant in Peabody Saturday afternoon.

The stabbing was reported at Century House Restaurant on Andover Street around 1:30 p.m.

Peabody Police said first aid was administered to a 52-year-old man who was stabbed in the abdomen. It is unclear where in the restaurant the stabbing occurred.

He was then transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where he is in stable condition.

According to police, Rogerio Silva and Rogerio Teixeira, both of Peabody, initially fled the scene but were arrested about two hours later.

Silva was charged with assault with intent to murder, assault, and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a dangerous weapon. Teixeira was charged with accessory after the fact.
