We're just 41 days away from camp, as the Patriots announced Thursday that 2016 training camp will begin on Wednesday, July 27 at Gillette Stadium. The first practice open to the public is scheduled for the next day, and a schedule of future practice sessions will be updated at the team's official website.

A pair of joint practices were also announced on Thursday. The Patriots will host the New Orleans Saints for a pair of practices on Tuesday, August 9 and Wednesday August 10, ahead of the 2016 preseason-opener at Gillette on Thursday, August 11. The Patriots will also share the practice fields in Foxboro with the Chicago Bears on Monday, August 15 and Tuesday August 16 leading up to their preseason matchup at Gillette Stadium on Thursday August 18.
