Patriots Practice Report: Dobson DNP; Mankins, Dennard Among 9 Limited

BOSTON (CBS) - Wide receiver Aaron Dobson was the lone player absent from the Patriots' practice on Wednesday as they prepare for Saturday night's AFC divisional playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The rookie receiver re-injured his left foot in the first half of New England's regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills. Dobson missed three games after suffering the injury in Week 12 against the Broncos, and was spotted wearing a walking boot in the Patriots' locker room on Wednesday.

Tale of the Tape: Patriots vs. Colts

It's looking unlikely that Dobson, who caught 37 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns during his rookie year, will play on Saturday, meaning fellow rookie Kenbrell Thompkins will see more snaps in the offense.

Thompkins (hip) was among the nine Patriots limited on Wednesday. Also limited was corner Alfonzo Dennard (knee/shoulder) and left guard Logan Mankins (ankle).
