LeGarrette Blount Reportedly Walking With Crutches

BOSTON (CBS) -- It's not looking good for Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount.

After injuring his hip Sunday night against the Houston Texans, Blount was spotted walking with the aid of crutches on Tuesday (via ESPN's Mike Reiss) at Gillette Stadium.

Blount left New England's 27-6 win over the Texans in the second quarter following a six-yard run. He was on the ground for several minutes as the Patriots' medical staff looked him over, eventually walking to the locker room under his own power. He had 53 rushing yards on 10 carries in the game up to that point.

In 12 games this season, Blount rushed for 703 yards (4.3 yards per carry) and six touchdowns.

The Patriots have just two healthy running backs on their roster in Brandon Bolden and James White, with undrafted rookie Trey Williams the team's lone back on the practice squad.
