Patriots-Jets Week 7 Stats & Fun Facts

BOSTON (CBS) --  The Patriots and Jets will meet for the 113th time Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium, and this should be another hard-fought battle in the historic rivalry.

The Patriots swept the Jets for the 16th time last season, but New York comes to Foxboro 4-1 and brings one of the best defensive units in football.

Here are some stats and fun facts to get you ready for this Week 7 matchup:

- Since 2001, the Pats have won 22 of their 30 meeting against the Jets.

- Bill Belichick has a 21-9 record against the Jets, while Tom Brady is 20-5 against them as New England's starting QB. Brady is 10-2 against the Jets at home.

- The Pats are off to a 5-0 start for the fourth time in team history and the third time under Belichick. They have only started a season 6-0 twice, in 2004 and 2007.

- The Pats have score 183 points so far this season, the most ever for the team in its first five games.

- Brady has 165 career regular season wins with the Patriots, the most wins by a starting quarterback with one team.

- Brady has 67 career 300-yard passing games, including five against the Jets.

- Brady and Rob Gronkowski have connected on 58 touchdown passes, the second most between a quarterback and tight end in NFL history.

- Gronkowski has caught a pass in all 70 regular season games that he's played in. In eight career games against the Jets, Gronk has 39 receptions and five touchdowns.

- Chandler Jones had his second multiple sack game of the season last week in Indianapolis. He now has seven multi-sack games in his career.

- Running back LeGarrette Blount caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter against the Colts last Sunday, the first touchdown reception of his career.

- Stephen Gostkowski has now connected on 21 straight field goals. The Patriots' team record is 25 straight by Adam Vinatieri.

- Rob Ninkovich has 13 fumble recoveries since 2010, the most by any player over that span.

- The Pats have won 76 straight home games when leading at halftime.

- The Patriots have sold out 232 straight home games, including playoffs and preseason games, dating back to the 1994 season opener.
