First Woman Named Captain Of Mount Washington Cruise Ship In NH

MEREDITH, N.H. (CBS) -- Patricia Quinn was named captain of M/S Mount Washington this week, becoming the first woman to hold the rank in the company's 149-year history.

Quinn has been with Mount Washington Cruises on Lake Winnipesaukee since 2014. She has served as Skipper on our smaller boats but began pilot training on the Mount Washington in 2018.

She is the 18th captain of the Mount Washington.
