BOSTON (CBS) — The following communities have announced snow emergencies and parking bans for the January 4 storm.

BELMONT: 6 a.m. Thursday until further notice

BOSTON: 7 a.m. Thursday

BRAINTREE: Midnight Thursday until 4 p.m. Friday

BROOKLINE: 7 a.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday

CHELMSFORD: 6 a.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday

EVERETT: Midnight Thursday

FITCHBURG: 11 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Friday

HAMPTON, N.H.: 7 a.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday

LAWRENCE: Midnight Thursday

MEDFORD: 7 a.m. Thursday until further notice

NEW BEDFORD: Midnight Thursday

SPRINGFIELD: 9 a.m. Thursday until further notice

SOMERVILLE: 8 p.m. Thursday

STONEHAM: Midnight Thursday until further notice

SWANSEA: 7 a.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday

WALTHAM: 7 a.m. Thursday

WAREHAM: 6 a.m. Thursday

WATERTOWN: Midnight until further notice

WEYMOUTH: Midnight Thursday

WORCESTER: 10 p.m. Wednesday
