Northeastern Officials Confirm 57 Students, Faculty In Paris Are Safe

BOSTON (CBS) – In the hours following the terrorist attacks in Paris, Northeastern University officials said they worked "around the clock" to confirm that all of its students and faculty currently in France are safe.

Northeastern officials confirmed that 57 members of university, two faculty members and 55 undergraduate students, were unharmed after a string of shootings and explosions in Paris.

The students are faculty members are in Paris as a part of several courses, including study abroad and an international business program.
