Pair Wanted In MA Shooting Arrested In Maine

BOWDOIN, Maine (AP) — Two people wanted in connection with a shooting in Massachusetts have been arrested in Maine.

Maine State Police say 21-year-old David Byron and 22-year-old Leah Wiinikainen were arrested when authorities stopped their car on Interstate 295 in Bowdoin Saturday morning, about six hours after a man was wounded in a shooting in Mashpee, Mass..

It wasn't immediately known whether the pair have lawyers. They are being held on fugitive from justice charges and will be in court next week.
