P.F. Chang's To Donate 4 Days Of Sales To Slain Chef's Family

BOSTON (CBS) -- P.F. Chang's will be donating four days of sales to the family of the chef stabbed to death inside the Northshore Mall restaurant in late August.

Elivelton "Eli "Dias, 38, who worked at the restaurant for seven years, was allegedly killed by fellow chef Jaquan Huston, 23, of Salem, in the kitchen area of the Peabody restaurant on Aug. 29.

Huston has been charged with first-degree murder. He is being held without bail.

The fundraiser will take place from Sept. 14-to-Sept. 17 at the P.F. Chang's restaurants in Peabody, Boston, Dedham, Cambridge, Natick, and the Prudential Center.

All proceeds will go directly to Dias' wife and infant daughter.

Anyone who is unable to attend the fundraiser can make a donation to the Eli Dias Memorial Fund via CrowdRise.
