One Killed, Two Seriously Injured In Worcester Rollover Crash

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — One man is dead and two others are hospitalized with serious injuries following a rollover crash on a highway in Worcester.

State police say a vehicle rolled over on an elevated portion of Route 190 on Friday, landing on its roof on the guardrail with a portion of the vehicle dangling over the roadway below.

Police said 28-year-old Brian Pedone, of Leominster, was pronounced dead at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Two other occupants of the car were listed in critical condition at the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.

Crews from the state Department of Transportation were called in to make repairs to the bridge.
