One Killed, Two Boston EMTs Injured In Crash Involving Ambulance

BOSTON (CBS) – One person was killed and two EMTs were injured during a Monday night crash involving an ambulance in Boston.

Boston police said on Tuesday that a crash involving a car and an ambulance happened at about 11:30 p.m. on Monday night at the intersection of Beacon Street and Fairfield Street.

The driver of the car was transported to Boston Medical Center, and pronounced dead there.

In addition, two paramedics were transported to an area hospital and treated for injuries.

There was no update available on the severity of their injuries.
