Oilers Claim Matt Fraser Off Waivers From Bruins

BOSTON (CBS) -- Matt Fraser is no longer a member of the Boston Bruins.

Fraser was placed on waivers on Sunday, and he did not last long. The Edmonton Oilers claimed Fraser off waivers, as announced by the team on Twitter shortly after noon on Monday.

Fraser, 24, originally came to the Bruins in July 2013 as part of the Tyler Seguin trade.

The winger played in 14 regular-season games last year for Boston, scoring two goals before scoring an overtime game winner in his first career playoff game.
