Officials: Homeowners Found Dead After Manchester, NH, Explosion Were Slain

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) – The two people whose bodies were found after a house explosion Monday have been identified as the homeowners and their deaths have been ruled homicides.

The New Hampshire Attorney General's office reported that the victims were positively identified as the owners of the Mooresville Road home, Robert Dion, 71, and Constance Dion, 67.

Officials said the Deputy Chief Medical Examiner concluded that both were homicide victims.

Police are looking for the Dions' 38-year-old son, Matthew Dion, who they have identified as a person of interest in the case.

The investigation into the fire and the homicides is ongoing.

Earlier, firefighters said they ruled out a natural gas explosion because the home does not have a gas line.
