Diver Dies In Water Near Maine's Nubble Lighthouse

YORK, Maine (CBS) – A diver died Tuesday after failing to resurface from the water near Nubble Lighthouse.

The incident comes one day after a group of strangers teamed up to form a human chain and rescue a diver from choppy waters in the same area.

According to WGME, it was a man in his 60s who died on Tuesday.

The diver who was rescued on Monday was treated by first responders at the scene and released.
