Northampton Man Killed In Fall From Sixth Floor Balcony

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say a Northampton man is dead after he fell from a sixth-floor balcony before dawn.

Twenty-four-year-old Brandon Lafreniere was pronounced dead at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Mary Carey, a spokeswoman for the Northwestern District Attorney office, says no foul play is suspected in the incident that occurred at about 3 a.m. at the Walter Salvo House.

Police are investigating.
