NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) — Police say four teenagers were hurt when the SUV they were in struck at least one boulder and a tree in Massachusetts and burst into flames.

Police say the Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed in North Andover at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Two males and two females all between the ages of 16 and 18 were in the vehicle. No names or home towns were disclosed.

Lt. E.J. Foulds said the injuries ranged from moderate to severe and one of the teens was flown to a Boston hospital.

The crash is under investigation, but Foulds says neither alcohol nor drugs appears to be a factor in the crash.
