NightSide - To Weed Or Not To Weed

BOSTON (CBS) - That is one of the questions Massachusetts voters will answer at the polls this November. Question 4 would legalize marijuana in the Commonwealth, as of December 15, 2016. Some of those who oppose the ballot question are concerned that legalizing marijuana will lead to more abuse of hard drugs, and that we could see an increase in motor vehicle accidents due to drivers operating under the influence. Those in favor of legalization say it would help keep nonviolent, low-risk offenders out of the prison system, and that the state could stand to make a lot of money on a market that already exists anyway. Matt Allen, Director of the Field Department for the Massachusetts ACLU, and Massachusetts D.A. Michael O'Keefe join Dan in the NightSide studio to discuss these issues and more.
