BOSTON (CBS) - New legislation has police officers in Massachusetts cracking down on drivers caught texting while operating their vehicle. As more and more of our lives become contained on our cell phones, there are more and more temptations to shoot a quick glance at the screen while driving. But the dangers of distracted driving are very real, and include more than just texting while driving. Massachusetts Highway Safety Director Jeff Larason and Lt. Dan Griffin with the Massachusetts State Police join Dan in studio to talk about the dangers of using your phone while driving, and what the new law means for drivers in Massachusetts.
