NightSide - Should Comedians Stick To Comedy?

BOSTON (CBS) - Last weekend, Wanda Sykes and Nick DiPaolo both ruffled some feathers at a fundraiser event held at the Garden by launching into political tirades. Sykes started it off by calling Donald Trump a racist, a sexist, and a homophobe. After the crowd booed her loudly, she was followed by Nick DiPaolo, who took the stage and started railing against liberals. In his pro-Trump rant, DiPaolo made some harsh jokes about Jewish people and raping women. About a month ago, Amy Schumer saw many of her fans walk out of her show in Tampa, Florida, after she began talking about the presidential race. When you go to see a comedian, are you ok with them using stage time to talk politics? Or would you prefer they stick to less divisive material? Were either Sykes or DiPaolo out of line on Saturday night?
