BOSTON (CBS) - National Grid and NStar, the two major power utilities that had agreed to purchase power from Cape Wind, officially pulled out of the deal earlier this month after the long-delayed project missed a crucial deadline. The multi-billion dollar project has been fighting battles for years, with residents around the Cape area strongly opposed to the idea of adding a wind farm as part of the picturesque landscape. Audra Parker, CEO of the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound, joins NightSide to talk about this potential death blow to the alternative energy project.
