NightSide - Auburn Officer Killed In The Line Of Duty

BOSTON (CBS) - Auburn Police Officer Ronald Tarentino was shot and killed early Sunday morning during a routine traffic stop. Jorge Zambrano, the suspect in the shooting, was also shot and killed in a confrontation with police later that day. Zambrano had a rap sheet with at least seventy cases logged in the court system and at least two incidents that involved fighting with police officers. How does someone with that type of record keep getting released? Should we be tougher on repeat offenders?
