NightSide - All Four Gun Control Measures Fail

BOSTON (CBS) - The Senate voted last night on four separate gun control proposals, and all four were defeated quickly. For years, the overwhelming majority of Americans have supported expanding background checks to include gun shows and online sales, and yet Congress has been unable to pass any sort of reform. We'll break down the four proposals that failed yesterday and talk about why our lawmakers have had such a hard time finding common ground on an issue that so many Americans support. Do you think there will ever be meaningful gun control legislation that will be able to pass in Congress? Or is this issue simply too political? Do we even need changes to the laws and regulations regarding guns, or does this debate distract from the real threats facing our country?
