BOSTON (CBS) - Donald Trump went into last night's debate with the goal of stopping the bleeding and pulling out of the downward spiral his campaign had entered over the previous forty-eight hours. After a damaging tape that captured Trump talking about sexually assaulting women was released on Friday, the weekend saw many top Republican leaders denouncing the things Trump said on the tape, and in a number of cases, Trump himself. But last night, unlike in the first debate, Trump was able to deliver a steadier performance and reenergize the base with his effective attacks on Clinton. Who did you think won the debate last night? Was Trump able to right the ship? Did Clinton do enough to go after a wounded Trump? Will we see a big jump in the polls based on last night?
