NH Police Investigating Speedboat Theft

LACONIA, N.H. (CBS) – Police are investigating the theft of a speedboat that was taken on Aug. 7.

Two men in a Toyota pickup truck towed the boat away from the Lakeport Landing Marina at around 11 p.m., according to Laconia Police. Surveillance footage captured the truck hauling the boat away on a trailer.

The trailer did not have a registration plate.

The theft, which includes the steel trailer, was reported on Aug. 9.

The boat is described as a 27-foot Donzi with a 425-horsepower engine. It's painted black with a white hull. A black canvas tarp covers the boat. The bow number is NH2522BP.
