DANVERS (CBS) – A New Hampshire man faces multiple charges after he rolled over his truck with a child inside while allegedly driving impaired.

State police responded to Route 1 northbound in Danvers on Friday just before 12:30 p.m., when a truck rolled over, struck a fire hydrant and caused water to flood roads in the area.

Fernand R. Fauteux, 27, of Seabrook, N.H., was hospitalized after the crash with non-life threatening injuries, police said. His two-year-old daughter was not injured when the truck rolled over.

According to police, when Fauteux is discharged he will be booked on charges of operating under the influence of drugs, endangering a child by operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and marked lanes violation.

Due to the flooding from the broken fire hydrant, the right lane of Route 1 was closed for over an hour.
