NH Man Charged In Indecent Assault At JFK-UMass T Station

BOSTON (CBS) --- A New Hampshire man has been charged after an alleged assault at the JFK-UMass MBTA Station over the weekend.

A woman told police she was walking up the stairs leading to the station around 7:48 p.m., when a man walking parallel to her, suddenly grabbed and assaulted her. The victim was able to point out the suspect who was still inside the station.

Charles Williams, 54, of Manchester, NH, was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Lawrence District Court for possession of a controlled class B substance. Williams was placed into custody for indecent assault and battery as well as the warrant.

It is expected Williams will be arraigned sometime Monday in Dorchester District Court.
