NH Man Accused Of Letting 10-Year-Old Drive Saab

GILMANTON, N.H. (CBS) -- A New Hampshire man has been arrested for allegedly allowing a 10-year-old to drive.

Sean Mulcahy Sr., 42, of Gilmanton, was charged in late November with allowing improper person to drive and endangering the welfare of a minor. He allegedly let the child drive a Saab car on Gilmanton roads.

Police called Mulcahy Sr. a "certified habitual offender." They said he pleaded guilty in a 2013 police chase where he used his car to force a sergeant's cruiser off the roadway.

Mulachy Sr. was released on bail and is set to be arraigned in January at Laconia District Court.
