Police Capture Peacock That Was 'Terrorizing' NH Neighborhood

NEWTON, N.H. (CBS) – New Hampshire police officers took a peacock into custody after they saw it was "terrorizing" residents for several days.

The Newton Police Department posted a photo of a the peacock, which was corralled in the area of Route 108 in Newton and Plaistow.

Police said based on where the bird was caught, it could be from Newton, Plaistow, Merrimac or Haverhill.

Anyone who knows where the peacock belongs is asked to contact police.
