Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped In New Hampshire Salt Pile

NEWINGTON, N.H. (CBS) – Firefighters completed an unusual rescue in New Hampshire on Monday.

A man was working on the tarps that cover salt piles in Newington when he fell through a hole in the tarp.

A worker was rescued after falling into a salt pile in New Hampshire. (WBZ-TV)

He was stuck for several hours up to his waist in salt until firefighters could pull him out.

He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
