Newbury Street To Have 3 Car-Free Days In August

BOSTON (CBS) -- Newbury Street will be closed to car traffic for three Sundays in August.
Pedestrians will have the famous shopping avenue to themselves on August 15, 22, and 29.
City officials hope the program will give businesses a boost and attract shoppers to the Back Bay.
The city plans to announce additional open street events for the fall in other neighborhoods.
