New Hampshire Bound Plane Crashes Off Queens, New York

NEW YORK (CBS) — A small plane registered in New Hampshire crashed in the water outside New York City Wednesday evening.

One body was recovered from the wreckage about a mile and a half off Breezy Point in Queens.

The two-seat plane took off from Philadelphia and was headed to Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

It's not clear yet if anyone else was on board.

The plane's registered owner is a man from Rye, New Hampshire.
