New Hampshire Woman Knocked Down By Bullets, But Not Wounded

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) – A woman was struck, but not shot, by bullets in Manchester, New Hampshire over the weekend, police said Monday.

The unidentified 29-year-old woman was in her apartment on East High Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when police said "she was drawn to her window" and then heard "multiple gun shots."

"Fortunately, neither of the two bullets penetrated her skin, but it did strike her with enough force to knock to the ground," Manchester Police said in a statement.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she was treated for "non-life threatening injuries to her chest and hip."

Officers are following up on several leads, but there have been no arrests yet.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
