New Hampshire Man Catches 15-Pound Catfish That Likely Set State Record

MARLOW, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire man reeled in a catfish over the weekend that is believed to be a record-setting weight for the Granite State.

New Hampshire Fish and Game said a conservation officer witnessed that the fish weighed 15.33 pounds.

Pending approval by Fish and Game biologists, it will set the new state record. The previous record was 12 pounds, 4.8 ounces.
