NH Attorney General Looking Into 'Untimely Death' Of Man In Greenland

GREENLAND (CBS) -- The "untimely death" of a man in Greenland, New Hampshire under investigation by the state Attorney General's Office.

Several police vehicles were seen outside a home on Portsmouth Avenue early Monday, but investigators would say little about what happened to the man, other than calling his death "untimely."

"This is an ongoing investigation into whether a crime has occurred. At this juncture, there is no evidence to suggest that there is a threat to the general public," Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said in a statement.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
