Giant Pacific Octopus Named Tatoosh Debuts At New England Aquarium

BOSTON (CBS) – Tatoosh, a giant Pacific octopus, is set to become the newest member of the New England Aquarium on Thursday.

The 2-year-old octopus weighs nearly eight pounds.

The giant Pacific octopus is the largest species of octopus in the world.

According to the aquarium, the species of octopus is intelligent and can use its eight arms to move more than 700 pounds. And, of course, they change colors as well.

Tatoosh will make his debut on exhibit Thursday morning.
