Casting Call In Boston Saturday For New Edition Miniseries

BOSTON (CBS) -- Know anyone who looks like a member of New Edition?

BET Networks is working on a miniseries about the Boston-based R&B group.

Casting agents are looking for actors, singers and dancers ages 10 to 25 resembling Bobby, Ricky, Michael, Ronnie, Ralph or Johnny.

Auditions will be held Saturday at Boston Casting studios at 129 Braintree St. in Allston. Ages 10 to 17 will audition at 10 a.m., while ages 18 to 25 will have their audition at 2 p.m.

Anyone who auditions is asked to bring a current photo. They also need to be prepared with a 1-minute monologue, or sing a New Edition song, or show off their dance moves.
