Netflix Prices About To Rise For Millions

LOS GATOS, Calif. (CBS) – Don't be surprised if you're suddenly paying more for Netflix next month.

CBS MoneyWatch reports that the streaming video service will soon charge all U.S customers the same price.

New customers have been paying a rate of $9.99 a month since last year.

But existing customers (about 17 million people) were grandfathered into the older price of $7.99 a month.

They'll be paying $2 more a month when the changes take effect in May.
