National Guard Officer Candidates Deliver Toys To Children At Dana-Farber

BOSTON (CBS) – Some future military officers spread holiday cheer Friday morning. But Santa's helpers didn't come in a sleigh.

United States Army National Guard officer candidates delivered toys to the kids at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

National Guard members marched several miles to bring toys to patients at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. (WBZ-TV)

They marched four miles in the cold to get the items there.

Toys were donated from the National Guard, Massachusetts State Troopers and several local organizations.
