Natick Police Warn Of 'Aggressive' Animal After 2 Attacks

NATICK (CBS) -- Police in Natick are asking residents to be on alert after reports of an animal attack.

Two people reported being attacked by an animal described as either a gray fox or coyote on Saturday evening in a residential area, Natick police said in a Facebook post.

The incidents were reported in the 100 block of East Central Street.

Residents say despite being a busy street, animals are found roaming the area often.

"It's definitely pretty dark at night and I've seen things running around," one resident told WBZ-TV. "It's definitely concerning, there are a lot of young children and pets in the area I would really be concerned."

Environmental police responded, but haven't yet found the animal.
