Man Killed In 2-Car Natick Crash

NATICK (CBS) – A 23-year-old Waltham man was killed Tuesday night during a crash in Natick.

The crash took place around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Speen Street and Timber Lane.

Police said the 23-year-old was driving a 2015 Subaru when it crashed into a 2003 Acura TL driven by an 81-year-old Natick man. The Subaru then left the road and hit a tree.

Neither driver has been identified.

Two bystanders helped remove the Subaru driver from his car. A Natick Police officer used a defibrillator and performed CPR.

The man was taken to MetroWest Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Acura was uninjured, though his passenger was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Natick Police, the Middlesex District Attorney's office and Massachusetts State Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
